What I Learned Running a Social Media Glow Up Program with Real Entrepreneurs
I want to tell you about something that happened during one of my Social Media Glow Up sessions.
One of my participants, a brilliant woman running her own business, sat down at our Content Creation Day and said, "I've been putting this off for two years." Two years. She had a business people needed, a story worth sharing, and the skills to back it all up. But she had been invisible online for two years because she didn't know where to start and didn't feel ready.
By the end of our session, she had shot 10 pieces of content, had a full content plan for the next 30 days, and was posting before she even got home.
That moment, watching someone go from stuck to moving, is exactly why I built this program. And running it has taught me things I never expected.
Here's what I've learned from working with real entrepreneurs inside the Social Media Glow Up.

LESSON 1: Everyone Thinks They're the Only One Who's Struggling
When my participants get together, one of the first things that happens is relief. They realize they're not the only one who feels behind. Not the only one who stares at a blank screen. Not the only one who starts a caption, deletes it, and then closes the app.
The isolation of trying to figure out social media alone is real, and it's one of the biggest things that keeps people stuck. The moment you're in a room with other entrepreneurs going through the same thing, something shifts. The pressure comes off. The comparison stops. And the work actually gets done.
Community isn't a nice-to-have in this process. It's part of the strategy.
LESSON 2: The Content Was Always There. They Just Needed Permission
Every single person I've worked with already had the content inside them. They had the stories, the expertise, the value to share. What they were missing wasn't ideas, it was permission.
Permission to talk about their journey. Permission to be imperfect on camera. Permission to promote their own business without feeling like they were being too pushy. Permission to take up space online.
A big part of my job in this program isn't teaching people what to post. It's giving them permission to post what they already know. Once that happens, the content flows naturally.
LESSON 3: Seeing is Believing. The Prototype Changes Everything
One of the things we do in the Glow Up is help participants see what their brand looks like when it's all pulled together. When someone can actually see a sample of what their feed could look like, the colors, the captions, the aesthetic, it stops being abstract and starts feeling real.
Before: "I don't know what I'm doing."
After: "Oh. I can do this."
That visual shift is powerful. It turns "someday" into "right now."
LESSON 4: Content Creation Day is the Game-Changer
I knew Content Creation Day would be valuable. I didn't know it would be transformational.
Something happens when you get dressed intentionally, show up to a location, set up your phone, and just start. The environment signals to your brain: we're doing this now. The nervousness doesn't fully go away, but it stops being the thing in charge.
My participants leave Content Creation Day with more than just footage. They leave with confidence. They've done the thing they were scared to do. They've proven to themselves that they can show up. And that proof doesn't disappear when the day is over.
One participant told me: "I've been dreading this for months. Now I can't believe I waited so long."
LESSON 5: Strategy Without Execution Is Just Information
There are a million courses, workshops, and free resources about social media out there. Most people who are stuck aren't stuck because they lack information. They're stuck because they haven't executed.
The difference between the Social Media Glow Up and a regular course is that we don't just teach you the strategy. We make you do it. In the session. Together. With accountability and support around you.
Information tells you what to do. The Glow Up makes sure you actually do it.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
If you've been learning, planning, thinking, and waiting, I want you to hear this:
You don't need another piece of content about social media. You need to create your own.
You don't need to figure it all out first. You need someone in your corner who has already figured it out and can walk you through it step by step.
You don't need more time. You need the right environment and the right support.
